I went to see the exhibition after the Didactics convention (a great convention, by the way) and was very impressed. There are a lot of nice photos on the toy museum website, but it's even better to see the exhibits in real life. You can also listen to a commentary in German and English, and view scanned copies of old napkin folding books from the PADORE collection, as well as an actual first edition of Giegher's "Li tre trattti" (1629), which is now extremely rare but is on display here (behind glass). Not everyone lives near Basel, but if you have a chance to see this or any of Joan's future exhibitions they are highly recommended.

To see the virtual exhibition follow the link

You can see a video and a diaporama with 110 photos.
Of course to see in real is the best : you have until April 7th 2013.
Please note that they have made - because is Switzerland - the catalogue of the exhibition (106 pages and 203 items listed) in 3 differents editions : German, English and French. Sadly they don't have a shop-on-line...
