Joan's book

Joan's book, "Gefaltete Schönheit" is to be published in the English language some time in the New Year. We are delighted that a wider audience will have access to his knowledge and research. Read a review here.

Out of interest, how many of you would be prepared to pre-order an English translation of the book, to help Joan with his finances?

I'll buy a copy - as long as it's a decent translation.

The book contains a lot of important research into the history of folding, and information that is not available anywhere else. And it's not "just" about napkins either. The 500-year-old folding techniques and principles that Joan describes are very versatile, and it's surprising to see how sophisticated they were.

I like this question. Maybe it's time to bang the pans for the Joan Sallas Gefaltete Schönheit English translation. I heard there is one in the making...

There's one that is all but complete Laura. We're just finalising the cover, then it can be printed. How we sell the book is still to be arranged.
