1805 This is a scan of a map, originally drawn on parchment, made in 1805. As you can see, there was very little else around and Sheffield would have been about a mile's walk away. The close proximity of Cockshutts Farm can clearly be seen. Since their route to the outside world passed directly by Lees Hall, it is hoped they had a good relationship! The farm was demolished during the 1970's - all that remains is the outer wall and a pond that needs work.
